Or are we dancers?
January 1, 2009

On hindsight, i say this 2008’s been very very eventful. Haven’t as much time idling and doing absolutely nothing, which means i’m free from quarter-life crisis and i’m kept occupied, which helps to keep my mind off things sometimes. I think i’ve enjoyed myself this year, especially in terms of experiencing life as it is, because life isn’t just about things working out perfectly but also having to face the occasional screw ups, not like a man, but a sensitive, logical and reasonable person as well. In that, 2008’s been good to me, because i’ve enjoyed myself thoroughly. I’m glad for the places i’ve been to with friends and family.
Resolutions for 2009: Rethink my life – I think it’s time to have real goals(and results) in the many things i do, or at least grow more aware of what and where i wanna get to for these aspects of my life.
And might as well.. (hahaha)

19, but i know i act like i’m 9 sometimes.
I thank my friends for being around, all this while tolerating my nonsense and all.
And there’s a pretty interesting set of photos of yesterday’s outing here.
Let’s all grow old together, that’ll be interesting.

Some monochromes to share. All shot with the 50mm 1.8, my ‘plastic-fantastic’
Took them at Chong Pang two nights ago when the the shops and market were opened till the wee hours of the following morning.
Festive mood everywhere, but i’m not feeling it.
Leaving for KL tomorrow (again). Another Malaysia roadtrip. Not like there was a good reason to stay and soak up the boring customaries of the Chinese New Year anyway.
And yea, good opportunity to hone my shooting skills, street/travel photography wise. Haven’t ben shooting as much as i want this year.
Probably should plan how to spend the ang bao mony too.
Maybe on the new canon 55mm-250mm f4-f5.6 IS lens. (if i make it on the plane to England with the literature group, that is.)
