The universe is going to catch you.

It’s great to be out on a weekday, cos we get to see this world as it is – people commuting on trains and buses, to school and work. Men in black suits and ties, ladies with inconceivable layers of makeup; Boys in messy uniform, and girls with barely decent skirts. Alas, school reopens today, and the work week resumes as well. It feels like one of those days back in the past, when i had chose to skip school for a day and just took the opportunity to just wander around early in the morning, just observing these swarms of people going through their daily rituals – chasing after buses, then trains, then a free copy of newspapers even. Running, dozing off, getting squashed, checking their watches, running, running, cup of coffee, running.
I love doing this. Especially so much of what i knew of this world have become distant and unfamiliar, really. I find myself lost in train stations. Heck, even the skyline looks different now -in just about 7 months that i’ve been withdrawn from this real world into the olive green cocoon. I can continue to buy new clothes, buy the latest music, and the most advanced of cameras, but progress is so overwhelming. It feels like a premature destruction of the world that we’ve yet to fully appreciate.
