Ah, women.
December 18, 2006
So i woke up this morning or rather, afternoon, and was reading the Straits Times’ Life! section and came across this imba article on page 6- “Getting to grips with a woman’s ire” and it sounded suggestive until i recalled the meaning of the word “ire”. A trip down memory lane told me the “ire” was one of the vocab words we learnt(or rather given to us) in place of the simplistic variation: ANGER.
Okay as i was saying, the crux of it all was:
The modern woman’s anger is scary. She secretly doesn’t mind a lot of the stuff men do but she just enjoys the power trip she gets from being angry
Haha, don’t they censor such claims that might possibly cause sexual discrimination in society? Not that they are unaware of the dire consequences(and they probably understand better than us since they’re doing the article in the first place).
Anyway my point is, it was quite a good read. Haha.
They’ve got some killer quotes.
Could it be, just maybe, men aren’t always to blame(for being insensitive)? Maybe women are just making a meal out of it- like sissy footballer Didier Drogba.
So what does a poor guy do? Ignoring it is possible if you don’t mind dying alone.
I say, play them at their own game. Next time she does something that could, in theory, upset you – cry.
I thought the Life! section only offered news like of how Bootylicious is Beyonce and the movie timings; Never knew they were good-humoured people.
Lastly, to put things into perspective, its fucking raining again.
